1. What type of therapy do you offer?
I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused, Cognitive Processing Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and more. We’ll work together to find the approach that works best for you. I find that most clients benefit from a variety of therapeutic approaches.
2. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or facing challenges that seem hard to navigate on your own, therapy can provide the support, tools, and clarity to help you work through those feelings. It’s a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
3. What can I expect during my first session?
In your first session, we’ll talk about your reasons for seeking therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any concerns you might have. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for how we work together. We will also spend time talking about relevant parts of your life such as important relationships, childhood experiences, symptoms impacting your day to day, if applicable past mental or physical health history and much more. This is all about building a connection and setting the foundation for future sessions.
